PSA: Start your Memorial Day festivities off right! @delish is amazing for holiday crowd recipes, so we went ahead and made a double batch of their Bloody Mary Bombs and boy, are they going fast! Make these now for tomorrow or tomorrow for Monday and thank us later! Yeah, we’re typing with one eye closed to better see the screen, but so would you... 😜 xoxo K&D
Ingredients
Makes 16 Bloody Mary Bombs
1 cup (240 ml) vodka
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1 pint (300 g) cherry tomatoes
2 stalks celery, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
16 slices bacon
16 baby dill pickles, Cornichons or olives (we've used feta stuffed olives)
Needed: appetizer skewers
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together vodka, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and lemon pepper. Poke several holes into each cherry tomato with a tooth pick. Add tomatoes and cut celery to the vodka and let soak in refrigerator at least 2 hours and up to overnight. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, but still pliable, 6 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate, then halve.
On each appetizer skewer, skewer 2 bacon halves, soaked tomatoes and celery, and a pickle, cormischon or olive.
