Ingredients
225 g halloumi
7 strips bacon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F (220 C).
Cut the halloumi block into half lengthwise. Then cut into 1 inch (2,5 cm) strips, so you have 14 halloumi fries. Cut the bacon strips in half horizontally. Carefully wrap a piece of bacon around each halloumi fry.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 18-20 minute until the edges of the halloumi are browned. Grill on high for a further 2 minutes to make the bacon crispy.
Serve as soon as cool enough to handle with Green Goddess Dip (see below).
Ingredients Green Goddess Dip
1/2 cup mayo
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup basil
1/4 cup chives
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground pepper
Instructions
Blitz the herbs, garlic and salt in a mini food processor.
In a small bowl, mix the herbs and mayonnaise until well combined. Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
Chill until ready to serve.
